When applying for a building permit for a new structure, the investor is required to commission a Geodetic Project. The Geodetic Project is an integral part of the Conceptual or Main Design, prepared by a licensed surveying company and approved together with the lead designer.
It defines the building plot and records the future structure in the cadastral and land registry records.
