This Privacy Policy explains how we process personal data in connection with your use of geodet-split-tahimetar.hr and your initial enquiries. The processing of data in connection with contracted surveying services may also be covered by relevant contracts and separate notices.
1. Data controller
The data controller is TAHIMETAR za geodetske djelatnosti, društvo s ograničenom odgovornošću (TAHIMETAR d.o.o.), Zoranićeva 2, 21000 Split, Croatia, Croatian personal identification number (OIB): 65137346708.

2. Personal data we process
When you submit the contact form, we process your first name, email address and message, as well as your last name and telephone number if you choose to provide them.
If you contact us directly by email, telephone or in person, we process the information you provide so that we can respond to your enquiry and continue the communication.
For the security and technical operation of the website, an IP address, access time, browser type, request data and other technical information needed to display the website, diagnose errors and prevent abuse may be processed.
The First name, Email and Message fields are necessary for us to process and respond to your enquiry. Providing them is not a statutory requirement, but the form cannot be submitted without them. Last name and Telephone are optional. You may contact us directly by telephone or email instead of using the form.
3. Purposes and legal bases
We process personal data:
- to answer your enquiry and take steps at your request before entering into a contract, under Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR);
- to manage business communications where an enquiry is not related to entering into a contract, based on our legitimate interest in responding to messages received, under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR;
- to operate the website securely, diagnose errors and prevent spam or automated submissions, based on our legitimate interest in protecting the website and its communication channels, under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR;
- to comply with legal obligations where applicable, under Article 6(1)(c) GDPR;
- based on consent where consent is required for an optional technology or a separate purpose.
We do not use contact-form data to send marketing messages without a separate appropriate legal basis.
4. Contact form and spam protection
Information entered in the contact form is sent by email so that we can handle the enquiry. In the website configuration currently confirmed, messages are not stored in a separate WordPress contact database. Messages and replies may remain in the email system according to the retention criteria described below.
We use services provided by Cloudflare, Inc. to deliver and technically protect the entire website. Cloudflare may process an IP address, TLS fingerprint, User-Agent header, request data and other security signals. On the Contact pages, Cloudflare Turnstile also processes the sitekey, originating domain and related technical signals to distinguish genuine users from automated requests. According to the provider, Turnstile does not read the content you enter into the form fields. Cloudflare acts as a processor when providing this protection on behalf of its customers, while Cloudflare states that it acts as a separate controller when processing Turnstile signals to improve its bot-detection capabilities. 5. Cookies and local storage
We currently do not use analytics or marketing cookies, and the public website does not load the Domus Cookies settings control. The actual inventory of browser mechanisms used by the public website is set out below.

6. External links
The Contact page contains an external link to Google Maps. Google does not receive data merely because you open our Contact page. Google’s website and its policies apply only when you choose to open that external link.
7. Recipients of personal data
Personal data may be accessible to hosting, email, maintenance and technical-security providers only to the extent necessary to operate the website, deliver messages and protect the system. Technical data required for the contact-form security check may be accessible to Cloudflare. We may disclose data to competent authorities where required by law or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
We do not sell personal data.
Cloudflare is a global provider based in the United States and may process data in the EEA, the United States and other countries in which it operates. According to Cloudflare’s currently published terms, transfers from the EEA to the United States rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and, where that mechanism is unavailable, on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses with supplementary measures. Cloudflare states that it uses Standard Contractual Clauses for other international transfers. 8. How long we keep personal data
We keep initial-enquiry data only for as long as needed to respond, prepare or provide the requested service, carry out reasonable follow-up, and establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
If the communication results in a contractual or business relationship, data needed for that relationship and mandatory business records is retained for the periods required by applicable law. Technical and security logs are kept only for as long as needed for security, troubleshooting and protection of the system.
9. Your rights
Subject to the conditions in the GDPR, you may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, restriction of processing and data portability, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

If you believe your data is being processed unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP). Current contact details are available on the AZOP website.
10. Automated security check
Turnstile automatically assesses technical signals to prevent abuse of the form. This check is not a decision that produces legal or similarly significant effects for you. If you cannot submit the form, you can always contact us directly by email.
11. Security and changes to this policy
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmitting or storing data is completely risk-free.
We may update this policy when our processing activities, technical services or applicable requirements change. The current version and the date of the latest update will always be published on this page.
