Geodetski ured Tahimetar d.o.o. has been operating in Split since 2010, providing professional surveying services to individuals, investors, and companies throughout Split-Dalmatia County. We handle every type of surveying work — from Geodetic Projects and staking-out surveys, through boundary determination and land subdivision, to condominium establishment and reconciling records between the cadastre and the land registry. You’ll find the full list of services, with detailed descriptions, on our Services page.
Our office holds the approval of the State Geodetic Administration (Državna geodetska uprava) to carry out professional surveying work, and our work is overseen by a licensed geodesy engineer registered with the Croatian Chamber of Chartered Geodetic Engineers (HKOIG). That means every survey report, project, or plan we produce meets the legally required standards and can be used without delay in proceedings before the Cadastral Office, the Land Registry Department, and the relevant building authorities.
Our team consists of a licensed geodesy engineer and surveying technicians who handle every case personally, from the first site visit through to the finished report. Being a small team means you deal directly with the person actually working on your case, with clear timelines and no waiting around for answers.
Our office is located in Split, at Ulica Petra Zoranića 2 — easily accessible from anywhere in the city and the wider region. Feel free to contact us by phone, email, or visit our office in person; we’re happy to hear about your project and give you an idea of the timeline and scope of work involved.

When applying for a building permit for a new structure, investors are required to commission a Geodetic Project — a key part of the Main Design that establishes the building plot and registers the future structure in the cadastre and land registry.
Before construction starts, every structure must be staked out on-site in line with the Main Design, so building begins within the permitted boundaries.
Buying, selling, or simply unsure of your parcel's exact boundaries? We determine and stake out cadastral parcel boundaries on-site, marked with permanent markers.
A topographic plan of your property on a proper surveying base map, with clearly marked boundaries, produced to scale as a full surveying report.
Registers legally built structures in the cadastre, based on an occupancy permit or legalization decision — a required step for any documented building.
Merges, divides, or forms cadastral parcels — the basis for updating the cadastre and land registry, for both building and agricultural land.
Required for unfinished buildings applying for an occupancy permit — documents the actual as-built state of the structure for the Cadastral Office.
Turns joint ownership of a residential building into individual apartment ownership — the step that makes you the outright owner of your own unit.
Brings cadastre and land registry records back into agreement whenever your parcel data doesn't match between the two.
Since 2010, every geodetic project, elaboration, and field work has been handled with the expertise of our office.
